This Grand Banks Fishing Dory half hull model is 20" x 6", crafted in Maine by Richard Webster. The Grand Banks Fishing Dories were carried aboard fishing schooners and were used for catching cod. The narrow flat bottom design was know to be practical and inexpensive to build.
